Little Carmine and Matt
Working with Skarlotte golden was great! Kathryn was very helpful and you can tell she really cares about the puppies! I have never met a friendlier/ loveable dog then the dog I got, Little Carmine. He is so well behaved the most social dog and loves all people and dogs! Everyone who has met him, loves him.

Two and a half years ago I decided I wanted to add a golden to my dog family. I have always gone to rescue but, I found that after adopting and fostering from the same golden rescue over the years they were very hard to work with.
I have never gone to a breeder, before. I went on the AKC website for good golden breeders in the Dallas area. I did find one but their female didn't
get pregnant. I was lucky that the other golden breeder recommended Skarlotte Goldens.
I called and talked to the owner Kathryn and was so impressed with her just talking on the phone. I could tell the love she has for her dogs. This was only the second litter that she was having.
Kathryn gave me updates all on the time about the mom Charlotte and when the puppies were born. This was also during Covid. For 6 weeks, puppy pictures all the time. Then the big day came to see the 9 little rascals. I was like a kid in a candy store and couldn't wait.
When I got to Skarlotte Goldens, there were 9 of the cutest puppies I have even seen. What also impressed me was the other dogs were not all goldens but rescues too. None are in kennels but live in her home, puppies raised there too. I knew I was
so lucky to have found them.
Over the weeks I got to go over and play with the puppies and Kathryn would see which one was the best match for me. The one I was so blessed to get was the smallest of the litter. She was also the bravest of the 9 littler rascals. I knew pink ribbon was going to be my Annie. Then that
special day came and Annie, got to come home to join her sisters Lucy and Rainy.
Annie, makes me smile all the time. The way she sleeps with the tip of her tongue out like her mom. When we walk she is very vocal and talks to everyone. I am always stopped because people want to know is that a golden? I am always told that she is the most beautiful dog in the neighborhood.
I highly recommend Skarlotte Goldens. You will get a puppy that is healthy, the best temperament and the perfect fit for your family. If I could have 4 dogs I would be adding another Skarlotte Golden to my home. Kathryn knows her puppies and she will know which one is the best fit for your family.

Barney , Nancy and Bob
Our Barney is the sweetest thing in the world. He is from Skarlotte’s first litter and is now 3 1/2 years old. When we heard she was going to have puppies, I immediately knew I wanted one. We had known Kathryn for a number of years and knew no one would be taking better care of Charlotte and her babies. We watched her puppies grow and learn about the wonders of the world. Kathryn worked with each one of them, I think even slept with them but for sure pampered them and exposed the puppies to different sites and sounds as they grew. I’m sure the care she gave Barney in his early weeks contributed to the wonderful and very smart boy he is. One of his favorite games is hiding around the corner of a chair and jumping out at his brother Charlie. It's just something he made up and is hilarious to watch. We're so happy he's a member of our family!
Lil Blue and Maile
Everyone has that dog they always dreamed of owning. A golden retriever was that dog for me so when I discovered Kathryn was going to start breeding, I immediately threw my hat in the ring! Kathryn was so communicative about every step, shared videos and stories and welcomed visits to see the puppies. When “blue” became our Lil Blue, we all just knew he was going to be special.
The skills he had even as a puppy, that Kathryn worked so closely on, such as auto sitting when approached, was unbelievable to us that even as a puppy he was SO smart and eager to please! Lil Blue is the sweetest, most friendly and peaceful dog we’ve ever owned; truly loving. Our son who suffered from anxiety at a younger age found calmness from Lil Blue; he knows when he’s needed! He loves to be with our family and his pack of animals which consists of another pup, 3 cats, 26 chickens, 2 goats and a horse, he really gets along with everybody! I just wish we could clone him!

Charlie and Julie
What can I say about my Charlie boy? He loves stuffies, treats, his brother Barney, and his mama. This not so little goof was part of Skarlotte Goldens’ 1st litter, and I was one of the first to visit the puppies when they were about 2 ½ weeks old. Charlie came into my life just a few days after I lost my 12-year-old goldie. I had gone with my parents to visit the puppies. Kathryn was the consummate breeder…made sure that we came in as clean as possible for the health of the puppies and walked us through how to handle the puppies.
It was after that visit, I decided I was ready for another dog. Charlie came home just a few months before COVID hit and the rest is history! He’s grown to be such a smart (sometimes too smart), loving boy. Every time I come home (or anyone comes in), he rushes around to find a stuffie to give as a welcome gift. He loves to sleep on his back, does not like car rides, but loves to visit his brother Barney who was also part of the same litter.
I thank Skarlotte Goldens for such a wonderful pup and I would recommend Kathryn in a heartbeat! No one can go wrong with a breeder who goes above and beyond to ensure all the puppies are happy and well-developed before going to their fur-ever homes!
